Pre-bid Showing for Clint Buck Farm this Friday March 28th

INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids will be received by the Centre County Conservation District (the “District”) for the following Contracts:

Clint Buck Farm

Construction of Agricultural Best Management Practices

246 Coburn Road, Coburn, PA

Murmac Farms

Construction of Agricultural Best Management Practices

2336 Zion Road, Bellefonte, PA

Each vendor’s bid proposal will be sealed in an envelope or other appropriate sealed packing and clearly marked “ Proposal for the Clint Buck Farm”  and “Proposal for Murmac Farms” and addressed and delivered to:

Bids for both projects will be received until 3:00 P.M. prevailing time on April 18, 2014, at the District office.  The District will notify the awarded contractor(s) after review of the bids by the District and the engineer(s).

Each bidder will be responsible for delivery of bid proposals to the District office on time.  The District will not be responsible for any bids which are incorrectly marked, delivered to the wrong place, or delayed in delivery or in the mail.    

A mandatory site showing (pre-bid meeting) is scheduled for Friday March 28 at 12:30 PM at the Clint Buck Farm located at 246 Coburn Road, Coburn, PA.

A mandatory site showing (pre-bid meeting) is scheduled for Tuesday April 2, at 10:00 PM at Murmac Farms located at 2336 Zion Road, Bellefonte, PA.

You must attend the site showing(s) in order to submit a bid.  No exceptions.

Bid packages which include engineer drawings and specifications must be obtained (not mailed or emailed) prior to the site showing(s) at the District office from 8:30 A.M to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.
