A few items Around the Bend     1. October 11- PVCA Second Saturday Community Day Series:The Big Sit  October 11, from 2-4pm at Muddy Paws Marsh.   The topic of this event is THE BIG SIT -- which is an international, non-competitive 24 hour bird counting event.  PVCA will participate in the full event and we invite you to visit the site from 2-4 pm to support the 'sitters', go on a bird walk, make a bird seed craft and learn about creating a bird friendly habitat.  If you are an interested birder and would like to be part of the 'sitting' team please contact pvcaeducator@pennsvalley.net and we will get you a slot.   __________________________________________________ 2. Interested in joining our Stream Monitoring efforts? This fall we will be focusing on macro-invertebrate sampling, identification and what it means for our Watershed.
